TSFC players interested in additional Academy training and game opportunities participated in the Lonestar Academy of Excellence program throughout the month of March. We started events with a brilliant technical training session with Luis Papandrea, a legendary figure of International, National, and South Texas soccer. |

Tigres Storm Futbol CLUB Academy The only San Antonio Academy Program to expose the advanced Academy player and teams to regular game opportunities against top Austin Academy teams, while STILL participating in San Antonio’s local area Academy league. TIGRES STORM FC FAMILY Good morning, TIGRES STORM FC is committed to teach the players better techniques that improve the quality of their skills. These specialty clinics will help each player with their individual skills. Reviewing the statistics of the organizations that have been successful at the State, Regional levels, you will notice that they have one thing in common and that is the are the clinics focusing on specific skills. Starting this week, we will host specialty clinics every Thursday at STAR Complex from 6:00pm until 7:15pm.

These TSFC clinics don't cost a thing. They are offered to the all TSFC players specifically designed to accelerate development |

The Tigres-Storm FC would like to thank all the players and parents who participated in the 2010 Copa Tigres-Storm. We would also like to thank the STAR Complex for all their support. Their professional staff played a key role in helping us make this tournament such a great success and we look forward to working with STAR again in the future. We would also like to thank the Lonestar SC coaching and administrative staffs for their guidance and support in the planning and execution of the tournament. This successful event is a perfect example of how our future partnership with Lonestar SC will change soccer in San Antonio forever. NEYSO was a instrumental in the tournament's success, as they came through for us on the McAllister fields. This allowed us to include every U-10 and below team the opportunity to participate in our tournament. The Tigres-Storm FC parents were out in force providing crucial volunteer support...so a special thank you to all those who volunteer, without you, we would not be as successful. 142 teams competed at all levels, playing almost 400 games in the amazing new STAR complex and in the end, all players had fun and parents enjoyed a great weekend of soccer. This tournament was only another step in our organization's goal of revolutionizing the way soccer is played in the San Antonio area. We are dedicated to taking soccer to higher level, developing skilled players with a passion for the game. We are well on our way and with the support and guidance of an organization such as Lonestar SC, there is no limit to what we can achieve. We hope everyone enjoyed the tournament this past weekend and will join us again next year as Lonestar San Antonio hosts the "2011 COPA LONESTAR" |
